Fox News Vs. Fox TV: Do you know the difference?


Fox News and FOX TV are often confused or thought to be one and the same.  Here is a quick primer to help identify the differences:

Fox News – aka Fox News Channel (FXN) is a cable network airing news 24/7.

Fox TV is a broadcast TV station airing programming such as American Idol, the Simpsons, Brooklyn Nine Nine, Enlisted, TMZ and Steve Harvey.  The station also airs local news but has no affiliation with and does not run the same news programming found on the Fox News Channel.

In Denver, Fox TV is KDVR-TV, ch 31; in Colorado Springs it is KXRM-TV, ch 21; and in Grand Junction it is KFQX-TV, ch 15.
